I came from a poor family who were engaged in lok natya and dramas, my mother had acted with Pruthviraj Kapoor in few of the sound less movies in 1950-60, other family members were also engaged in film industries, I came in movies in year 1970, at that time all marathi films were based on village stories and every movies were having tamasha background therefore i had to play the character given by the producer of the film, i was very sincere with my work, i played many different role in various films like choravar mor, Ranphakara, shirdi ke saibaba, etc.
